First time?

apr 08 '25 -- 01 Flip Phone?

this morning i spent a whole lot of time looking up the best flip phone i can offload instagram and other stuff off to. my logic is that the worse the experience it will be > the less time i will spend on it.

unfortunately instagram is all too nessecary when you've made it the default platform to be contacted. so i had to check whether it can function, (and also learn how to apk) so clicky-clicky i will go when i figure out how to get my hands on a flip phone

i ended up landing on a samsung galaxy 2 folder, or specifically the sm-g1650, which turns out to be the flip phone i watched a youtuber 'dumbphone(d)' down to a bit ago. i will however have to purchase it off ebay for much more than my broke jobless ass can afford.

kyocera digno 902kc, it's cool but might not work.

nokia 2660, something i can actually get in person but no.

not sure if the network is really nessecary when i should really only have this dumbphone available when wifi is available, but we'll see how it goes.

in the end i want to have a flip phone because i think its cool B), maybe i'll make it kotone themed.

anyways i'll be saving money till then, it's a neat goal.

but like, i guess the better solution is to just not succumb to doomscrolling.
